Seoul Robotics Selected as SupplyTech Breakthrough’s IoT Innovation of the Year

Seoul Robotics is proud to have been awarded SupplyTech Breakthrough’s IoT Innovation of the Year Award. SupplyTech Breakthrough is an independent market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies, and products in the global supply chain and logistics technology market. Chosen from over 1,200 submissions, Seoul Robotics is being recognized for its ability to automate and revolutionize finished vehicle logistics to be safer, more efficient, and cost-effective.

This recognition emphasizes the unique inventiveness behind Seoul Robotics’ Level 5 Control Tower (LV5 CTRL TWR), a mesh network of sensors and computers that take in the environment and communicate with vehicles to guide them autonomously. LV5 CTRL TWR is powered by Seoul Robotics’ industry-leading 3D perception software, SENSR™, equipped with deep learning AI.

Seoul Robotics’ Autonomy Through Infrastructure (ATI) solution with the LV5 CTRL TWR, is a novel approach to achieving Level 5 autonomy. By installing sensors on the infrastructure that surrounds vehicles, rather than on the vehicles themselves, they are able to eliminate barriers to cost and reduce blind spots for improved accuracy. The award-winning solution is currently being used to automate finished vehicle logistics at a BMW manufacturing facility in Germany.

“Seoul Robotics’ solutions catalyze conversations around the future of deep learning AI and how 3D perception is remaking the world around us,” said Seoul Robotics CEO HanBin Lee. “As the IoT industry continues to grow, we’re proud to be recognized for making autonomous mobility and finished vehicle logistics smarter and safer for all involved.”

LV5 CTRL TWR is the first and only IoT solution to achieve full Level 5 autonomy, creating an opportunity for other groundbreaking business applications. LV5 CTRL TWR will make it possible for other businesses like vehicle distribution centers, trucking logistics, valets, and car rental companies to increase operational efficiencies and safety within automotive logistics, while saving them millions of dollars each year.

Seoul Robotics is honored alongside top companies and startups such as DHL Supply Chain, Freightos, XPO Logistics, FedEx, and more. With this recognition, Seoul Robotics is able to empower the future of innovation in IoT as it works towards its mission of mobilizing industries to be more efficient, autonomous, and connected.
