"Making Robots Intelligent"

Seoul Robotics is a 3D perception solution company building a platform that uses AI deep learning to power the future of mobility.

HOW IT STARTED

Seoul Robotics was founded in 2017 in Seoul, Korea.

A group of engineers with backgrounds in 3D data processing met in an online class studying computer vision together. They put their new skills to the test, teaming up for a competition to develop a software system for self-driving cars relying on data only from LiDAR sensors rather than a combination of camera sensors - which was unheard of at the time. The team placed 10th out of more than 2,000 teams. From that competition, Seoul Robotics was launched.

OUR MISSION

Today, the company has numerous investors, advisors, partners, and of course, a growing workforce. Seoul Robotics has grown into an international organization, with offices in South Korea, Germany and the US, as well as distribution operations on four continents.

It has customers around the globe, across a range of industries and applications.

Our mission is to make robots intelligent by helping them understand the world like humans.

"We aim to provide the base operating system for LiDAR perception

around the world, for all applications. "

OUR FOCUS

The future of autonomous mobility is closer – and more accessible – than you think_Moment2

We are a 3D perception company with a specialty in LiDAR.

Everytime a LiDAR sensor is used, be it in cars or factories or in robots and city streets, there needs to be accompanying software. Without software, raw LiDAR data is just a series of 3D points. Our 3D vision software, SENSR, uses machine learning to identify and track objects in the world, allowing computers to make sense of raw data using AI.

With our 3D vision software, SENSR, Seoul Robotics aims to provide the base operating system for LiDAR around the world, for all applications. As Microsoft Windows is to desktop computers, Seoul Robotics’ SENSR will be to LiDAR.

In addition to our base software, SENSR, Seoul Robotics develops additional applications for LiDAR, including autonomous-driving software, autonomy through infrastructure, and object tracking and recognition solutions.
