Seoul Robotics Takes Center Stage in U.S. State Visit

President of South Korea and President of the USA

At Seoul Robotics, we recently had the privilege of accompanying South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol on his visit to the United States to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the U.S-ROK alliance. HanBin Lee joined leaders from a select group of South Korean organizations’ – from the country’s most promising startups and growth stage companies, to established corporations like Samsung, Hyundai, and LG Electronics – for a White House visit, forum, and a K-Startup investment roadshow.

We were honored to be selected as one of 122 leading South Korean companies, representing the nation’s advanced autonomous mobility technology and strengthening the economic alliance between our two countries. We actively participated in a forum jointly hosted by the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, aimed at exploring ways to deepen technological cooperation. As a pioneer in autonomous mobility technology, Seoul Robotics played a key role in the discussions and shared learnings, insights, and our vision for the future of this rapidly evolving field.

Throughout the visit, HanBin also had the opportunity to further establish Seoul Robotics as a pioneer in the autonomous mobility field amongst influential leaders, policymakers, and industry experts in Washington, D.C., and Boston, by showcasing our industry-leading 3D perception technology which is currently being used to automate large-scale fleet logistics for BMW.

Being hand picked by President Yoon Suk Yeol for the State Visit was an important milestone for our company in solidifying our position as a top Korean company. The visit reflected the government’s trust in Seoul Robotic’s ability to drive South Korea's innovation and technological advancements on a global stage, and provided us with a high-profile platform to showcase our technological advancements and share our unique perspective. It was a privilege to participate as a leader in autonomous mobility alongside the country’s most prominent enterprises and as we continue our journey, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of this technology and contributing to the growth of our industry both in South Korea, and globally.
