Turning Chattanooga, Tennessee into a smart city with LiDAR

Seoul Robotics has partnered with the Chattanooga Department of Transportation and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's Center for Urban Informatics and Progress (CUIP) to make their city a safer place using LiDAR. As reported by The Chattanoogan newspaper, Seoul Robotic's SENSR software was deployed in conjunction with Ouster's LiDAR sensors at two intersections on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in the city. This solution will detect the movement of pedestrians and vehicles and identify wrong-way driving incidences, as well as analyze traffic flow.
